Information Technology Engineer
Location: Huntsville, AL
Hourly rate: $74.00 - $79.00
Contractor benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401kThis position requires an active US Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Technical Skills:
• The candidate should be knowledgeable of the latest Microsoft approaches within a DoD IT operational environment.
• Management of Domain Policy across a multi-system, multi-platform DoD Infrastructure.
• Experience managing Active Directory based identity services and role-based access controls.
• Understanding of Information Assurance policies and procedures with the ability to apply IA requirements to an existing system.
• Knowledge of system hardening, DoD cyber compliance, and vulnerability mitigations.
• Administration of Windows Domain Controllers, Windows Member Servers, Windows Desktop, Windows Deployment Servers, WSUS, Office 365, Active Directory Management, DNS Configuration, and Windows Patching.
• Growing understanding of additional Information Technology solutions like Identity Management Solutions, Multi Factor Authentication, Network Attached Storage, Data Retention, Data Back Ups, and Disaster Recovery.Required Skills:
• 8 years of increasing responsibility in multi-system, multi-platform, Windows Domain. Experience managing a server infrastructure and maintaining daily operations with a focus on security management. Proven project management, process improvement, and documentation skills.
• Extensive experience working within a Windows Domain.
• Must meet and be current with DOD 8570 IAT II certification requirements (Security +, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP). Candidate will be responsible to maintain DoD 8570 certification for the full contract period.Desired Skills:
• Hands on experience with DoD processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change.
• Good communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with software developers, system administrators, system engineers, system analysts and test engineers.Position Responsibilities:
• Configuring Windows Domain Policy within the C2BMC Huntsville Support Infrastructure (SI) Domian.
• Managing Active Directory based identity services and role-based access controls.
• System hardening: Quarterly STIG Reviews, ACAS Compliance, vulnerability mitigations, and event log management.
• Administering Windows Domain Controllers, Windows Member Servers, Windows Desktop, Windows Deployment Servers, WSUS, Office 365, Active Directory Management, and DNS Configuration.
• Administering the infrastructures Identity Management Solutions (Delinea), Multi Factor Authentication (OCSP Repeater/Responder), Network Attached Storage (NetApp), Data Retention, Data Back Ups (IBM Spectrum Protect), Disaster Recovery, and EXSI Virtual Cluster.
• Help Desk and IT ticket support as needed.
• Other tasking as assigned by the IT Lead and Lab Manager.Must be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.#MWL
