We are seeking a Line Cook to join the team at our busy family friendly restaurant. In this position, you will be responsible for using high-quality ingredients to prepare delicious meals for our customers. The ideal candidate is experienced in either flat top/grill, fry station, etc and is committed to creating an excellent experience for our customers. Must be reliable, punctual and a team player that can work well in a fast paced environment .Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily opening & closing kitchen procedures as applicable
- Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
- Prepare food according to standards set
- Monitor inventory and restock station when necessary
- Follow all food safety regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Management
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and recipes
- Works well in a fast paced environment
- Time management skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting 30+pounds
