What You Will Bring to the Role:The Front Desk Night Auditor/Night Clerk is responsible for reconciling all hotel cashier transactions; reviewing, organizing and compiling management reports on a timely basis and ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions. He/she is also responsible for effectively communicating concerns and/or related issues to all levels of management and performing guest service agent duties as required, including check-in, check-out, telephone operation and reservations.Some of Your Responsibilities Would Be:
  • Oversee the guest experience during the overnight shift and assist with guest resolution/service recovery as needed.
  • Audit, balance and report on all food and beverage outlet's: (e.g. restaurants, lounges, banquets, room service) cash and credit operations to include but not limited to checks, over/short figures/tally sheets, deposits, counts, house charges, promotional materials, postings, etc. and reset all registers to ensure accurate, timely information.
  • Audit, balance, post and report on the front desk to include but not limited to; room charges, phone calls, zero balance folios, corrections, adjustments, taxes, disputed charges, over/short figures, deposits, etc. to ensure accuracy and verify proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Audit, balance and prepare, verify and report on Room information to provide rooms management with a picture of how they are performing.
  • Prepare and input statistics and income journal sheets for preparation of daily reports.
  • Balance and close all bank ticket codes, daily
  • Run night audit final after ensuring all revenues are in balance nightly.
  • Perform the duties of a Front Desk (guest check-in and check-out, assist guests, provide general information on hotel and nearby attractions)
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Previous hotel night auditor experience, preferred
  • 1-2 years of front desk experience or similar customer service experience
  • Previous cash handling experience
  • a self-motivator who has a passion to deliver amazing customer service
Required Characteristics:
  • This position is strictly an overnight position and interested candidates must be able to work from 11:00pm to 7:00am
