- Helping to prepare financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting documents and presentations
- Analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends. Prepare financial modeling for various “what if” scenarios and the overall impact to the factory. Special focus areas: product/business line profitability, product costing, production variances, over/under-absorption analysis, and inventory analysis
- Communicate information to relevant stakeholder groups to support corrective action plans
- Optimize performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplication and coordinating information requirements
- Establish and oversee processes and tools to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information
- Maintain audit trails and documentation for future audits and reviews
- Ensure timely and efficient communication with controllers and the relevant peers to identify and discuss issues and suggestions for improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business is highly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cost accounting or financial analyst role in a factory environment required
- Experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software, including SAP, LX, Oracle or related financial systems
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- English language skill(s) and proficiency
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and demonstrated proficiency with other Microsoft Office products
