Job Title: Process EngineerJob DescriptionThe Process Engineer is responsible for supporting Operations through data collection, problem solving analysis, and countermeasure implementation to work toward the improvement of operating capability and sustainability while maintaining all applicable safety and reliability standards.Responsibilities· Support continuous improvement efforts through the application of the Crane Business System.· Work closely with production and support personnel to develop and optimize process settings and document as Standard Operating procedures (SOP).· Monitor process settings to help identify and implement opportunities for improvement in quality, cost, and safety.· Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.· Communicate with team members, Quality, and Technical to ensure that process changes are implemented efficiently and safely.· Participate in data collection to support continuous improvement projects.Skills and Qualifications· Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.· The ability to plan, organize, collect, analyze, and assess process data.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.· Excellent communication skills - professional and effective interaction across all levels of personnel with the organization.· Problem Solving – methodically work to establish root cause of process variation.· Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing – standardized work, 5S, TPM, etc.
