Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills; attention to detail; excellent computer skills; demonstrated knowledge of NCAA compliance rules and regulations; basic knowledge, understanding and adherence of conference and University rules and guidelines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and constituencies
- Strong communication, management, and analysis skills to enhance operations productivity and efficiency.
- Extremely organized, self-starter, intrinsically motivated
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with coaches, staff, and student-athletes
- Working knowledge of the NCAA Compliance Assistant software and compliance monitoring systems (e.g., ARMS, Jump Forward, or Front Rush).
Required Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Four (4) years directly related NCAA compliance experience.
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Ten (10) years directly related NCAA compliance experience.
- Master's Degree or Juris Doctor
- Experience at the Division I intercollegiate level
- Proficiency in NCAA systems, compliance software, Teamworks, and Banner.
