- On-call during non-working hours for notification regarding a site deficiency or incident
- Manage all traffic control staff on site
- Complete all required monthly, weekly and daily reports
- Develop and implement traffic plans to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of content
- Monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements at a company, site and provincial level
- Provide assistance with the preparation of traffic management information, advice on interpretation of local government OH&S regulations
- Liaise with regulatory authorities at the site level to promote safety and assist to resolve any issues of non-compliance
- Interact with owners and owner representatives as required on all safety issues
- Participate in all project planning meetings related to project work planning and scheduling to ensure planning processes include TMP requirements
- In charge of assuring safety on the job site and all employees follow PPE & safety requirements
- Assemble, deliver, and pick up safety products from job sites
- Operates company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job site
- Completes operations of assigned traffic control/safety projects setting up and taking down lane closures
- Drive MOT (Management of Traffic) vehicle to and from project and on work site
- Check work zone throughout shift to be sure items are still in their proper location
- Assist team; pick up traffic control items at beginning and end of shift and load into the truck
- Drive TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) vehicle to and from project and on work site to protect workers and work zone
- Install, remove and reset delineators, signs, posts and supports
- 3+ years of progressive experience in a similar role is required
- Highly motivated with a passion for safety
- Traffic Control design experience an asset but not required
- ATSSA certification
- A valid Drivers License is required to operate company trucks; Must have clean driving record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Traffic regulations
