- · Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, staff, physicians, visitors, and other staff. Professional boundaries must be maintained at all times
- · Collect information about clients using assessments, tests, interviews, discussions, observations, etc. and distil information into detailed notes tracking progress as needed
- · Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports
- · Provide therapy to clients individually and in group sessions with the goal of overcoming dependencies and making positive changes
- · Collaborate with team members in staff meetings, and occasionally with the clinical supervision
- · Create treatment plan goals with client which follow procedures, adhere to code of ethics, meet legal clinical practice protocols, and maintain professional standards
- · Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- · Familiarity with substance treatment industry: 12 step terminology, etc
- · Proficiency in KIPU Systems Client Management Software
- · Mid-level candidate: Required hours completed; license test scheduled
- · Basic candidate: 2,500 hours towards license completed, AMFTs need to have children hours completed
- · CPR/First AID
- · Valid Driver’s License
- · Negative TB test results within past year
- · Medical clearance to work within past year
- · Ability to pass random drug screenings
- · Sit for long periods of time
- · Type and view computer screen
- · Operate office equipment including phone, printer, copier, etc.
- · Communicate clearly, quickly and efficiently with clients and staff
