OverviewWe are seeking an exceptional Resolution Associate Workers Compensation Claims Supervisor who embodies a passion for developing and inspiring others. As a subject matter expert and people leader, this individual will lead multiple classes of talented hires, leaving a lasting impression on each individual who joins our training program. The successful candidate will be proactive, resourceful, patient, and compassionate – always striving to bring out the best in their teams.This position is on-site at our Las Vegas, NV office.

  • Passionate about nurturing the growth and potential of individuals new to the insurance industry, this visionary leader will champion our training program and facilitate the onboarding and development of successive training classes, ensuring the growth and success of each cohort against program guidelines.
  • Adept at building strong partnerships with multiple teams and functions, the ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and collaborator, fostering an environment of transparency and collaboration. The ideal candidate will take the initiative to identify and communicate technical or professional gaps to program and branch leadership, actively leading efforts to address and resolve them.
  • The supervisor will partner with the technical training team to coach and mentor trainees throughout the duration of the program, enabling the mastering of new loss investigation techniques, regulatory requirements, and claim handling best practices.
  • Organized and efficient, they will handle multiple responsibilities including licensing oversight, adapting to changing priorities while meeting deadlines. To maximize employee engagement, performance, and retention, the supervisor will meet frequently with the trainees throughout the first 90 days and maintain an appropriate cadence throughout the duration of the program.
  • Collaborating with branch management, the ideal candidate will ensure a seamless transition as the training classes assume claim handling responsibilities. While direct supervision of claims will be the responsibility of the branch supervisor, this leader will maintain open lines of communication with branch leadership to stay updated on trainee progress, performance and any support required.
  • Identifying and deploying targeted training, this training leader will ensure continuous progression in the learning and development of claim handling responsibilities in partnership with the branch leader and supervisor until the Claims Trainee reaches the appropriate claims handling level or completes the training program.

About YouREQUIRED:
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 7 years related claims experience
  • Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled
  • Previous experience in claims handling and a track record of effective leadership and employee development
DESIRED:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
