The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for providing quality health care services to all residents including assessing somatic conditions, delivering medications according to procedure and creating a favorable group climate for the effective treatment of each resident in treatment. The Nurse Supervisor, in collaboration with the Regional Nurse Administrator, is responsible for suggesting and recommending changes in program, policy and procedure. The role is also responsible for providing high quality services under the least restrictive conditions feasible. The Nurse supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the nurse staff (and health coordinators - depending on location). This position supports the Behavioral Health Division of Pioneer Human Services by performing administrative and supervisory tasks to support the provision of quality and cost effective medical/behavioral health services.What you'll bring
- Registered Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing and licensed to administer medication.
- Must have an active in good standing Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington.
- Minimum of 3 years' working experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous supervisor experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience working in Mental health, chemical dependency, rehabilitation.
- Experience with electronic charting.
- Knowledge of local resources and services for individuals who are homeless or low-income and those experiences chronic behavioral health challenges or having histories of involvement in legal system(s).
- At least 1 of year experience in a residential setting dealing with chemical dependent or clients with mental health concerns
