Welder - Pine Bluff

• Read work orders and blueprints to determine operation, parts, and tools needed
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together
• Bolt, clamp, and tack weld parts to secure in position for welding
• Set up equipment and weld parts using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
• Records production in computer

• One year certificate from college or technical school or 2 years related experience
• Proficient at MIG welding of 1/4" - 3/8" plate and cast welding
• Must pass a blueprint reading test
• Must pass a practical weld test
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
