The Part-Time Instructor – Counseling will teach two graduate level courses in the fall and spring semesters, supervise practicum students at the Cameron Psychology Clinic one day a week from 3:00 – 6:00pm, hold five hours of office hours each week, and attend monthly faculty meetings. The graduate level courses will focus on preparing MSBS: Counseling Track students to succeed as LPCs (e.g., Counseling Theories, Basic Counseling Skills, Career Assessment and Counseling) and/or, if qualified, LADC classes (e.g., Alcohol and Drug Counseling Theories and Techniques, Alcohol and Drug Addiction, Addiction in the Family Counseling).MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
LPC and LPC Supervisor with mental health experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
LPC and LPC Supervisor and LADC and LADC Supervisor with many years of clinical practice in mental health, teaching experience, and supervising experienceINSTITUTION:
