Job Summary:The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing finance, as well as a CPA qualification. They will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of driving financial performance and operational excellence.Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Develop and manage the company's budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize liquidity and support business operations
  • Lead the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in manufacturing finance, making recommendations for improvement as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA qualification required
  • 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, with significant experience in manufacturing finance
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
