VCA Milwaukee Emergency Center for Animals (MECA) in Greenfield, WI is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join the team at our one-of-kind emergency hospital.Who We AreVCA MECA has been serving the Milwaukee community since 2009. We are open 24/7 to provide emergency and critical care services to a diverse patient base of dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles and birds. Every day, you will have the opportunity to practice, enhance and improve you skills, including:Patient triage and physical examinationsVenipuncture and blood drawsSurgical preparation, assistance, and recoveryAnesthesia monitoringCatheter placementLaboratory and pharmacy workRadiology and diagnostic imaging proceduresMaintaining accurate, detailed patient recordsProfessional communication with clientsSchedule: Full time, day shift (6:00am-6:00pm). 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week. Alternating weekends and rotating holidays are required.Salary: $20-$30 per hour.
