Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. (ECT), seeks a dynamic, early career professional to join our Site Assessment & Remediation (SAR) service line. The ideal candidate will support the national due diligence team and their respective regional SAR team. National due diligence projects primarily focus on front-end renewable energy development, while regional projects could involve environmental sampling, monitoring, technical research at agency offices, and other field support.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, various remediation/monitoring projects, and other environmental due diligence studies (e.g., critical issues analysis, feasibility studies)
  • Maintain field equipment; take complete, accurate, and legible field notes to document field activities and site conditions
  • Complete any required paperwork, electronic field forms, and data submittals in a timely manner
  • Prepare associated reports, figures, tables and data management
  • Support other service lines, to include natural resources and water quality projects
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences
  • GIS and/or CAD experience a plus
  • Desire to actively improve writing and research skills
Job Essentials:
  • Long days and occasional travel (20%-60%) throughout the U.S. by car or flight, sometimes overnight for one or more weeks at a time
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record
  • Able to work in all weather conditions and throughout all seasons
  • Able to lift heavy/cumbersome equipment and maintain field equipment and sampling gear
  • Strong attention to Health and Safety protocols and management
