- Oversee and manage inventory control processes and procedures
- Ensure accurate tracking, recording, and reporting of inventory levels
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory management practices
- Develop and maintain inventory control systems and databases
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement preventive measures
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including shipping and receiving
- Proven experience in materials management and inventory control in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques
- Strong knowledge of stock management principles and practices
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment and systems
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis to identify process inefficiencies
- Experience in sourcing materials from suppliers
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes and procedures
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving operations
