- Leads day-day marketing calendar development, promotional cycles and integrated content planning.
- Develops and communicates marketing project brief requirements & strategic direction for internal and external (agency) resources.
- Uses consumer, market, and competitive insights to proactively identify impactful marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Manages omni-channel marketing plan delivery in collaboration with Media, E-commerce, PR, Social, Email and Creative teams, including delivery of break-through creative ideas, journey mapping and KPI achievement.
- Develops and manages innovative in-store marketing activations, including events and signage.
- Creates impactful plan presentations and communicates plan updates to internal stakeholders.
- Manages brand team marketing budgets as appropriate, including quarterly and annual planning.
- Manages and co-ordinates vendor marketing opportunities, overseeing bedding co-op marketing plans as primary day-to-day liaison with key merchandise, category & industry partners.
- Brand steward works closely with Media, Creative, Ecommerce and Merchandising teams to maintain brand voice/identity throughout all executions.
- Shares knowledge of industry trends and competitive trends; monitors retail, fashion and furniture news and competition; interprets into actionable insights and continues to bring forward elevated and new thinking.
- Support any other function, responsibility or opportunity as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- 5-7 years consumer marketing, retail industry experience; Including proven track record managing and executing integrated campaigns across multiple disciplines.
- Knowledge and experience with digital marketing & in-store activations.
- Business acumen, solid problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
- Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills; Ability to manage & prioritize a large volume of disparate programs.
- Creative thinker and idea generator with ability to convert ideas to proof-of-concept, inspire others to do the same.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with a collaborative approach.
- Demonstrated ability bringing together teams with various backgrounds, perspectives, and levels of authority.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience developing, writing and presenting briefs & plans.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to build out new function.
