Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Accounting Manager to lead our finance team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger teams
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and reviews
  • Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and investment transactions
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting transactions
  • Provide guidance and support to other departments on accounting-related matters
  • Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA designation preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP principles and financial accounting standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
