- Provide forward looking financial leadership, analysis, and reporting to the Finance Director and senior leadership team of Rego.
- Develop and implement robust procedures that create accurate, timely and relevant financial statements, measurements, forecasts, plans and business analysis.
- Manage communications with and between OPW corporate team, operating companies and executive management.
- Coordinate the submission of month end financials and supplemental information from all global operations.
- Focus on continuous improvement and clear communication skills.
- Establish a system of processes and controls that ensure financial statements and business analyses are accurate, timely and keenly relevant to the business. Support information requests from Dover/OPW and communicate monthly operating results, forecasts, plans and strategic initiatives to OPW as needed.
- Coordinate the submission of monthly statements from the Operating Companies. Perform preliminary review for errors, omissions, and ensure properly supported financial statements in compliance with all Dover and SOX standards. Organize review package for Finance Director and VP GM. Maintain appropriate records.
- Support all acquisition activity, compliance initiatives and financial reporting in a detailed and hands-on manner.
- Prepare reports that inform management of Key Financial Metrics. Coordinate and consolidate non-financial reports from Operations for consolidated submission of governmental surveys, performance metrics and key driver analysis. Communicate results of offline metrics with CFO and President. Manage communications between Segment Office and Operations.
- Minimize tax burden through effective global business planning. Annual coordination of Tax inputs for Corporate Office.
- Complete tasks in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements
- Assist with special projects on group wide initiatives, Kaizen events, process simplification and Operating Company specific projects as requested.
- Analyze operations to identify trends in the business; recommend and implement specific corrective actions when warranted.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
- 5 – 10 years of experience within an industrial products industry
- Experienced in large ERP systems
- Power BI (Maintenance & Development) preferred
- OneStream (Maintenance & Development) preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to develop strong business relationships and provide functional leadership even though all players do not report directly to this position.
- Above average written and oral communication skills in English
- Disciplined work ethic, detail oriented and well organized
