Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is currently seeking a Full Time Senior Accountant for its Finance Department.Job Duties:The Senior Accountant is responsible for the overall financial activities and a function of a major not-for-profit social service organization includes analytical review of general ledger accounts and preparation of financial statements in accordance with corporate policies and generally accepted accounting principles.Job Requirements:The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related field; and a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a professional accounting, business management, and/or auditing setting that demonstrates an understanding of generally accepted accounting and auditing principles.
