- Maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
- Assisting with customers' queries.
- 1 -2 year experience as an HVAC technician preferred but not required
- Willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- Regularly required to work around operating equipment, work in confined spaces, stand for long periods of time, walk, reach, stoop, crawl, twist, bend and climb ladders.
- Maintain open communication with company staff and customer in a professional manner.
- Understand and efficiently use basic computer hardware and software.
- Maintain a clean, safe driving record.
- Passionate about contributing as an individual and loves winning as a team.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
- Lift over 50 lbs.
- Stand 90% of the day.
- Climb ladders.
- Possess good vision (normal or corrected).
- Carry material from one location to another or floor to floor.
- Lifting, positioning, and fastening of heavy electrical equipment.
