Willow Project Engineer – Electrical and InstrumentationResponsibilities
  • Assists the Project Team in planning and organizing day-to-day project activities.
  • Supports administration of the project teams and the coordination of activities between project locations.
  • Assists in organizing and controlling project work to ensure that all project objectives are being met regarding safety, environment, cost, schedule, work environment, and quality.
  • Ensures that all decisions and activities within the various project teams support the project's objectives and priorities.
  • Prepares and gives presentations on project issues.
  • Assists Project Control in the preparation of cost estimates.
  • Obtains all necessary approvals for planned work.
  • Monitor progress, manpower, and budget.
  • Keeps team members informed on Project progress and developments.
  • Monitors project document development and project change and variation orders.
  • Promotes knowledge sharing and contribute to good communication and cooperation with Management and key individuals.
  • Applies broad range of competencies to develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Influences others to achieve objectives.
  • Provides specialized/technical/functional guidance to others within department and/or business asset.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of related work experience
  • Understands advanced aspects of discipline and is viewed as an expert in given field.
Willow Project OverviewLocated on Alaska’s North Slope in the National Petroleum Reserve (NPR-A), the Willow project is estimated to produce 180,000 barrels of oil per day at its peak.The economic impact of the Willow project will be sizable. According to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) estimates, Willow could generate between $8 billion and $17 billion in new revenue for the federal government, the state of Alaska, the North Slope Borough, and local communities. The initial phase of Willow development will include a new Willow Central Processing Facility (WCF), three drill sites, pipelines, roads, bridges and supporting infrastructure.Scope SummaryThe Willow project is spread over several phases and areas:2023 – 2025 - Detailed Design2023 – 2024 - WOC Fabrication2025 – 2027 - WOC North Slope Installation and Commissioning2025 – 2027 - WCF / DS Sealift Module Fabrication2027 – 2029 – WCF / DS North Slope Installation and CommissioningWillow will be a greenfield design including all processing facilities, utilities, drilling equipment, camp, and power generation.
