Responsibilities
  • Audits contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
  • Review and posts receipts and payments to appropriate ledgers, speadsheets, records and databases.
  • Installs, modifies, documents and coordinates implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures.
  • Devises and implements system for general accounting.
  • Makes recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
  • Conducts studies and submits recommendations for improving the organization's accounting operation.
  • Collects appropriate data and prepares federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.
  • Coordinates activities of external auditors.
Qualifications
  • Two (2) years of experience as an Accountant, Financial Analyst or a related role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds

  • One (1) to Three (3) years of experience as a senior associate at a CPA firm (Big 4 or Middle Market) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or with manufacturing clients preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management (year end physical counts or recurring cycle counts) preferred.
  • CPA preferred.
