Job DescriptionWHAT YOU GET TO DO:A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. Working directly as a DSP, you will be able to assist in a Unit Based Residential program setting. The DSP (caregiver) is responsible for providing direct support, hands-on instruction, assistance, and positive direction to those we support in a manner that ensures their health, safety, successful achievement of service objectives, and personal goals.
  • Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
  • Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
No Experience? If you meet the basic job requirements, we will provide the necessary paid training and hands-on experience.QualificationsWHAT WE LOOK FOR:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Current auto liability insurance
  • Prefer previous experience working with persons with developmental or intellectual disabilities or on the Autism Spectrum.
