Under the general guidance of the IT Manager, this position will provide technical support and deploy company standard Wide Area Networks, Wireless networks, Security networks and miscellaneous IT systems used by Heidelberg Materials' businesses. This position will be a member of the IT Services Infrastructure and will reside in our Corporate office in Irving, TX.What you'll get to doProvide end user support at our aggregate quarries, concrete and cement plants for WAN, WIFI, Camera and Security related projects and issues.Schedule and deploy the company standards services to the Business.Participate in both business initiated and IT driven projects.Develop and maintain IT documentation and training programs to assist in meeting business needs.Occasional out of region travel is required with ability to travel internationally.Essential Experience and SkillsMinimum 10 years of relevant IT experience in a Microsoft Windows/Cisco networking environmentCisco CCNA certification or higher, experience troubleshooting network issues and configuring Cisco network equipment.Experience ordering WAN circuits and an understanding of the various WAN technologies - DSL, MPLS, DMVPN, SD-WANProven experience in troubleshooting, testing techniquesProficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, Project and Visio.Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.A detail oriented self-starter with strong organizational skills and basic project management experienceKeen interest in new technologies and the vision to identify opportunities for improving processes.Preferred Experience and SkillsKnowledge and IT support experience within the construction materials industry is an asset.What we have to offerCompetitive base salary and participation in our annual incentive planHybrid work scheduleCompetitive benefits program401k retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributionsMinimum Pay Rate$115,120.00Position TypeFull-TimePay ClassSalaried ExemptLine of BusinessCorporate Administration (SSC, IT, Employee Services, Etc.)Maximum Pay Rate$158,290.00
