Purpose & ImpactThe director of Engineering will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company's engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully building and scaling SaaS products, as well as leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.What that looks like day to day:
  • Execute the company's product strategy in alignment with business objectives and market trends.
  • Lead the development and delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with the product team in the definition and prioritization of product features, user stories, and use cases.
  • Assist in the development and management of product roadmaps, timelines, and release schedules.
  • Ensure that product development is aligned with engineering capabilities, timelines, and priorities.
  • Manage and motivate the engineering team to build high-quality software solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering teams.
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure that products are marketed effectively, and customer needs are met.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering.
Who you are:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and launching successful SaaS products.
  • Strong technical background and experience managing high-performing engineering teams.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in managing remote teams is a plus.
