- Clean and transform large datasets to project liability cash flows and reserves
- Analyze population and plan-specific experience to develop custom mortality curves and other liability assumptions
- Execute ALM modeling and generate analysis of financial statement projections
- Drive prudent financial outcomes around earnings, capital, and shareholder value
- Contribute to improving existing processes by leveraging best practices and various platforms including Python, Excel, and SQL
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other STEM field
- Ability to rapidly understand complex quantitative concepts and financial projection models
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office-suite software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to illuminate technical concepts for broad understanding
- Ability to juggle multiple urgent priorities with tight timelines
- Passed ALTAM or equivalent life contingency exam
- Working knowledge of Python (e.g. pandas, numpy, sqlalchemy, plotly/dash, xlwings) or other coding languages such as C#, SQL, and VBA
- Familiarity with private US-based pension plans and/or payout annuity products
- Experience with asset modeling including traditional fixed income, structured finance, and alternative equity assets
- Knowledge of agile methodologies
