Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Working knowledge of federal regulations such as Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Title IX as it relates to student accommodation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and clearly with diverse audiences.
- Ability to create, implement and expand new initiatives and programs.
- Strong management skills and ability to coordinate teams and data across units.
- Ability to manage and coordinate subunits in their EDI and racial equity tasks and initiatives.
- Data management, tracking and evaluation of programs.
- Experience in needs assessment and evaluation of workplace culture and policies.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising teams.
- Experience in training diverse populations and audiences.
- Ability to prioritize function independently, and to work well as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Master's Degree in Public Health, Organizational Change, Leadership, Behavioral Health, or related field.
- 2 to 4 years of managerial and leadership experience, preferably in a higher education institution
- 2 to 4 years of experience in EDI related program and data management
- Knowledge of SPHTM mission relative to research, education, and service
- Experience in academic settings
