They will gather requirements, analyze data, research issues, and assist in the development of solutions that address the Private Banking business goals.This position will work closely with all areas in the Private Banking line of business and other support areas at the firm. You will develop meaningful relationships and by understanding the business goals from the different areas, there will be daily interactions with users, project managers and sponsors, technology systems and occasionally senior management to resolve issues and launch new products. Whether its problem resolution, creative design for complex issues or managing task lists, this role will lead meetings, design sessions, and workflow design. They will contribute towards user acceptance test planning and execute user acceptance testing.Key Responsibilities Include:AnalysisAssist production support as needed regarding preliminary analysis for enhancements and bug fixes.Evaluate and design systems in collaboration with the business line, Technology and Processing teams in a continuing effort to enhance productivity, reduce risk and improve client experience.Formulate realistic workflow or other requirements based on objectives, feasibility, and budget; apply discipline and align shared objectives with user communityDesign creative solutions that meet the goals and objectives of the project and align with product/discipline strategy.Identify business goals and problems in individual business units and across the organization. Work with project team to define scopeParticipate in testing of system changes, including planning user acceptance testing, regression testing, client testing and parallel/pilot testing as requiredAdhere to strong project execution methodology standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycleData Collection & Document ManagementDocument and/or review business requirements gathered from business users, sponsors, and clients, and obtain user sign off on the requirementsIdentify and interview key individuals to gather needed details and direction to define business requirementsOversee and participate in documentation of new or revised procedures and workflowsBased on data analysis make recommendations on process improvementsMine relevant information from various data sources and account for accuracy of dataReview results for exceptions to trends and research / reconcile where appropriate.Present data in the most appropriate and relevant format to varying audiences – level and knowledgeCommunication and LeadershipPrepare materials, and lead or participate in meetings with business users and sponsors, systems groups, vendors, and clientsAssist in creating product announcements and user demonstration materials as neededProvide guidance for users and project team through coaching, resolving conflicts, coordinating activity, and assigning workBased on lessons learned, offer updates to improve best practices, project documentation and upgrade the standards as applicableQualifications - Knowledge, Skills, CompetenciesRelevant Professional Experience as a functional product owner, preferably in the financial services industryTwo plus years of transferable work experience preferredEducation Level BA or EquivalentStrong level of problem-solving skills, research and data gathering abilityWillingness to have flexible workday during off-hours for crucial project deploymentAbility to identify, escalate and resolve problems/issuesAbility to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skillsDemonstrates efficient time management skillsDemonstrates organizational skills and an attention to detailPC experience, including the following applications: PowerPoint, Microsoft Suite (Excel, Adobe, Word)Initiative, motivation, creativity, and the ability to work independentlyKnowledge of Visio, CRM, AddVantage accounting system, project tools a plusWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, genetic information, creed, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other protected status under federal, state or local law.Salary Range$75,000-$85,000BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
