- High visibility role working with a direct manager and business personnel to gain an understanding of key processes, risks and controls across all areas of the business.
- Individual will have the opportunity to advise on financial, operational, compliance, and/or information technology (IT) projects.
- Will participate in all aspects of the audit process including planning the audit, designing and executing test procedures, and preparing the audit report.
- Able to present engagement results to all levels in the organization, as required.
- Will perform audits and other engagements as part of a team under the direction of a Lead Auditor or Associate Director.
- Support execution of the internal audit plan by preparing walkthroughs and contributing to test programs, as well as conducting internal control testing, substantive procedures, and other special reviews/consulting engagements.
- Collaborate with key employees and management within business units to assess risks and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Accountable for meeting deadlines, as well as adhering to department and professional standards.
- Work with other auditors in the Internal Audit function to support continuous improvement efforts and participate in department-wide initiatives.
- Communicates professionally both in person and writing.
- Self-starter who excels working with little supervision.
- Effective communicator and analytical thinker who can employ logic and persuasion to influence with diplomacy and tact.
- Proactive, innovative, and intellectually curious individual who can partner and collaborate with others.
- Experience/exposure with different data analytics tools.
- Basic understanding of Accounting, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Fraud Management, and Internal Control concepts.
- Ability to travel, typically not to exceed 10%.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Typically requires 2-3 years of audit experience.
