- Prepares and enters warrants daily into National Crime Information Center (NCIC); tracks, audits, validates and removes served, expired, and recalled warrants; uploads photos of wanted persons to County Sheriff’s website; prepares residential and commercial evictions as ordered by the court.
- Organizes and assists with serving civil and legal court documents, including but not limited to subpoenas, summons, property executions, garnishments, and orders of protection, as issued.
- Maintains civil ledger and bookkeeping system involving all cash transactions and back reconciliations; prepares all deposits and disbursement of payments; prepares the annual budget for the Warrants and Civil Process Department.
- Prepares and tracks all probation and release orders and terms and conditions of inmates.
- Creates and maintains the procedure manual for the Warrants and Civil Process Office.
- Supports the relationship between the Teton County staff and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with visitors and County staff; maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and County information; performs other duties as required or assigned.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years of applicable experience and familiarity with word processing, data entry, and internet operations
- National Incident Management Certification IS100 and IS700, or ability to obtain certification within one year of appointment.
- Notary Public License, or the ability to obtain within 2 months of appointment.
- NCIC and Security Awareness Certifications issued by the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy (WLEA).
- Principles and procedures of recordkeeping, reporting and retention.
- Law enforcement and court principles, procedures, and methods.
- Principles and practices of accounting and finance; auditing standards.
- Current technological capabilities and applications.
- Operating a personal computer utilizing standard software such as Microsoft Office and some specialized software; functioning standard office equipment.
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with coworkers and other individuals in contact during the course of work; communicating clearly and concisely
- Utilizing problem solving strategies and organizing information and activities involving multiple sources.
- Work is performed in a standard office environment.
