- Define the service strategy that delivers value in the market and grows services delivered, and increases market awareness of the service and 1898 & Co. Current focus is on utilities with future growth into other industries. Presents and positions service offerings internally and externally.
- Lead client discussion detailing knowledge on Distribution Management and Outage Management business value chain and workflow
- Apply industry experience and leading practices to architect, design, develop and implement grid operations solutions to support complex business requirements.
- Lead program estimating, planning, and budgeting efforts and be accountable for the program/project delivery execution.
- Develop organizational relationships to enable others to identify opportunities and leverage organizational capabilities needed in project delivery.
- Lead the creation of key client proposals.
- Work with technical teams to develop and define the project scope and technology to ensure successful project solutions are delivered.
- Provide technical and industry expertise to evaluate the market and competitive landscape.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities and works with business development and sales functions.
- Work with team to project resource requirements and growth.
- Lead presentations and demonstrations to customers, partners, and the organization.
- Develop and implement sales tools and collateral.
- Develop and present sales briefings and training programs.
- Present at industry conferences and enable others.
- Participate in sales and marketing efforts for critical pursuits.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the team, department, and practice.
- Mentor and guides less experienced staff.
- Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.
- Responsible for effective communication with other disciplines.
- Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, management information systems, business or related degree from an accredited program. Applicable years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Minimum 8 years of related experience (3 or more years identifying and implementing solutions for broad technology systems is preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise technology projects, preferably in a consulting capacity within the electric utility industry.
- Demonstrated understanding of operations processes and technologies within the electric utility industry.
- Understanding of Electricity Power flow in Distribution and DMS applications usage in North American utilities
- Experience with the Integration of ADMS Systems with other legacy systems like Customer Information System (CIS), IVR, Work and Asset Management Systems etc., will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated experience developing solutions that lead to results with business impacts.
- Strong facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience leading and completing projects from business proposal through post-production support preferred.
- Ability to filter and distill relevant information and convey business and technical concepts to a diverse client base and internal technical teams.
- Excellent planning and analytical skills.
- Broad knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Ability to develop key service offerings, from concept to deployment, that align with industry specific needs
- Product Management Experience is preferred
