Country: United States of AmericaLocation: CAFMA: FS Kidde Fenwal Ashland MA 400 Main Street, Ashland, MA, 01721 USAThe Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will report directly to the Kidde Fenwal Chief Financial Officer and collaborate with the full spectrum of Kidde Fire and Fenwal Controls functional leaders, including IT, customer service, operations, finance, human resources, procurement, and supply chain. The FP&A manager will be responsible for overseeing and consolidating corporate financial reporting and planning across the global KFI business. This role is envisioned to be “hands-on”, leading a small team of financial analysts to provide best-in-class financial planning and analysis (FP&A) support for a global businessKey Responsibilities:Financial Reporting:Leads and facilitates detailed reviews of financial and operating performance; identifies key trends, risks and issues to be addressed in reports shared with management and board of directors.Owns the preparation of monthly and quarterly forecasts and leads the annual budget and planning process for the global business.Responsible for the consolidation and development of management reporting for corporate leadership, board of directors, and other outside investorsTreasury Management:Provides support to the CFO on liquidity forecasting, cash management, and working capital management.Owns and maintains cash forecasting models.Conducts ad-hoc analysis on cash forecasts and liquidity risks.Supports conversations with banking providers, as required.Business Partnership:Builds strong working relationships with business managers, provides financial guidance and insights to support sales growth and operational effectiveness.Manages ad-hoc financial analysis and/or special projects, as assigned.Development of Best Practices:Lead and strengthen financial reporting process and abilities, including team development, finance application design/selection/adaptation, and general process improvements.Mentor and develop a global team of financial analysts located in the US, UK, and IndiaRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Business5+ years of Finance experiencePreferred Qualifications:Technical Competencies:Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or BusinessAdvanced computer program skills, including the ability to write macros in Excel and other financial packagesExperience with and knowledge of one or more ERP systems including JDE, SyteLine, and/or SAPExperience with and knowledge of financial reporting and business intelligence tools including ReportsNow, PowerBI, Tableau, and/or PalantirExperience with and ability to work with large volumes of complex financial and operational dataPrior FP&A experience in a global industrial manufacturing businessPrior experience leading small-to-medium size teams of finance and/or accounting staffAdvanced MS Office Skills, including Excel and PowerPointEnabling Competencies:A strong analytical toolkit that makes use of business intelligence and reporting softwareCapability to multitask and adapt to a constantly changing, quick environmentOutstanding communication skills and relationship-building abilitiesCapability to lead projects throughout an organizationStrong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to create and deliver concise presentations to managementTeamwork – desire to work with others and share responsibilitiesRSRCARCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
