- Manage a team of Project Engineers responsible for designing manufacturing processes to implement new products at PEC
- Lead multi-functional project teams with members from Logistics, Quality and Operations responsible for acquiring of new parts, developing line side supply solutions and quality validation of new processes.
- Develop and maintain budgets for new product introduction to PEC
- Create and maintain project schedules for new product introduction to PEC
- Lead manufacturing process definition and documentation: SOPs, PFMEAs, Control Plans, Layout Changes
- Manage Specification and procurement of necessary tools and equipment for new product manufacturing
- Lead the simultaneous engineering for new product development projects
- Plan, define and implement the related process changes within the given time frame of each of these projects
- Lead preparation and implementation of equipment commissioning and new product trial builds
- B.S. Degree in Engineering (Prefer Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing)
- Experience with Visual Management/Project Management Tools
- Experience in complex machining, assembly and project engineering assignments
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and influence others
- Ability to work within deadlines to achieve goals
- MBA Degree (Prefer project management)
- 5 – 7 years’ experience in engine manufacturing or new product launch
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience in a simultaneous engineering style project environment
