- Along with assistance from other management experienced in HR and outside legal counsel, guide the company through HR compliance and best practices.
- Act as an advisor and facilitator to employees and managers on day-to-day issues, policy interpretation, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain HR compliance.
- Oversee and supervise HR team members. Mentor and cross train to create a versatile HR Department.
- Facilitate open communication with all employees in a timely and courteous manner and drive change management among leaders.
- Foster a culture of inclusiveness within the organization.
- Draft and distribute newsletters regarding human resources information, policies, and procedures.
- Address employee relations issues in a timely manner and conduct investigations as needed.
- Lead change through training and influence across all levels and functions of employees.
- 5+ years of experience in HR with exposure to all major functional areas of HR.
- PHR/PHR-CA /SPHR SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or similar HR Certification.
- Ability to translate business strategies into actions that deliver results and improve organizational capability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Proven experience of leading deployment of organizational change.
- Previous experience partnering with senior management.
- Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues.
