\We are recruiting a Senior Human Resources Generalist to support employees of a dynamic manufacturing organization based in the Central Valley. Our client offers a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 6% Employer match towards retirement as well as a culture where employees are held accountable and are highly appreciated!The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for providing operational counsel on team member issues and developing HR strategies that improve the business and contribute to the overall advancement of the organization. This position is 100% onsite, M-F, 8am-5pm. Salary: $75,000-$85,000 DOE.The ideal candidate will be an approachable, hands-on professional who promotes a strong company culture by providing amazing human resources services to employees. Must have at least five years of HR experience in the Generalist capacity.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Along with assistance from other management experienced in HR and outside legal counsel, guide the company through HR compliance and best practices.
  • Act as an advisor and facilitator to employees and managers on day-to-day issues, policy interpretation, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain HR compliance.
  • Oversee and supervise HR team members. Mentor and cross train to create a versatile HR Department.
  • Facilitate open communication with all employees in a timely and courteous manner and drive change management among leaders.
  • Foster a culture of inclusiveness within the organization.
  • Draft and distribute newsletters regarding human resources information, policies, and procedures.
  • Address employee relations issues in a timely manner and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Lead change through training and influence across all levels and functions of employees.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience in HR with exposure to all major functional areas of HR.
  • PHR/PHR-CA /SPHR SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or similar HR Certification.
  • Ability to translate business strategies into actions that deliver results and improve organizational capability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience of leading deployment of organizational change.
  • Previous experience partnering with senior management.
  • Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues.
