Trains lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks.Job Duties:
- Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
- Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis.
- Capable of training others on tasks.
- Proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and creates or edits maintenance job plans.
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
- Fully proficient in their core function, performing advanced level tasks.
- Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.
- Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site.
- Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations.
- Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.
- Conduct testing of conductor insulation, transformer coils, circuit breakers and related switchgear on a routine basis using testing equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), whether used for Distributive Control Systems (DCS) or emergency lighting, located throughout the plant.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on motor control centers.
- Knowledgeable in the operation of Soft Starts and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- Demonstrate understanding of Electrical Standards, NEC, and GMP requirements.
- Either a High School Diploma with 10+ years of relevant electrical maintenance experience, or a relevant Certificate with 5+ years of experience, or an Associate's Degree with 3+ years of experience.
- CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.
- Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools).
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
