Redi-Mix Plant Manager - Batch Plant ManagerOur client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Redi-Mix Plant Manager - Batch Plant Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Redi-Mix Plant Manager - Batch Plant Manageryou will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the batch plant operations, ensuring the production of high-quality concrete products while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.*This may require relocation.Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the batch plant, including scheduling, production, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize plant efficiency and productivity.
  • Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of concrete products.
  • Oversee the quality control process to ensure that all products meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plant equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials.
  • Train and mentor plant staff, providing guidance and support to promote professional growth and development.
  • Monitor and analyze plant performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to plant operations, production output, and inventory levels.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years experience with redi mix - batch plant
  • Proven experience in batch plant operations, preferably in the concrete industry.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete production processes, materials, and quality control standards.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using computer software and systems relevant to batch plant operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
