The Instructional Technology Coordinator is a certified position. The primary responsibility is to assist with integrating technology into the curriculum in order to improve student learning. The candidate must be able to adapt and adjust to the needs of the building. Additionally, the candidate must be able to understand departmental curriculum requirements in order to assist with curriculum enhancement. The Instructional Technology Coordinator reports to the principal.Requirements: Illinios Professional Educator License with Secondary endorsement. Technology endorsement preferred.The basic duties and responsibilities are as follows: * Assess, coordinate, and implement the technology professional development needs of the certified faculty.
  • Facilitate the integration of technology into current curriculum, supporting teachers in their efforts.
  • Participate in "best practice" workshops and make curriculum recommendations related to technology integration.
  • Assist in managing the computer labs.
  • Oversee Wheaton Warrenville South's website ensuring development, design, criteria, and accuracy.
  • Coordinate and recommend budget requests for technology hardware and software.
  • Evaluate and recommend a plan for a more efficient utilization of the computer labs and technology services throughout the high school.
