Position Overview/Primary PurposePosition OverviewThis position will diagnose and resolve OT/IT issues in the plant including packaging/process control systems, shop floor applications, and various network systems. Indicate if accountability is shared with other positions.DimensionThe Digital Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting the site OT and IT control systems and networks and has a large impact on the site's ability to deliver to PR targets. These impacts include accurate collection and reporting of production metrics, connectivity of shop floor systems to the enterprise network, and manufacturing equipment control systems. Additionally, this role will execute improvement projects targeting shop floor applications and systems to reduce production downtime.This position will provide input and support to other functions within the site as it pertains to training documentation and delivery as well as the development of standard work across the plant in support of Journey to Excellence.The Digital Systems Engineer must be capable of solving complex problems with quick decision making to diagnose and repair production critical systems in a timely manner.Work EnvironmentWork EnvironmentWork Environment Designation: MaintenanceMcCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
