Texas is calling!Are you a Refrigeration Engineer who can oversee New Product Development and Sustainability?You will be successful in this position if you have the capacity to do the following duties:
- Lead, manage, and hold direct reports accountable for accomplishment of company and departmental goals and responsibilities.
- Strategize and manage new product development and new technology activities (A2L, CO2, and ultra-low temp systems, etc.).
- Manage and coordinate sustainability efforts on existing products.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with appropriate agencies (DOE, EPA, UL, ASHRAE).
- Provide research and dissemination of technical information on new technology and industry trends to both customers and employees.
- Diagnose current electronic controls situation, suggest improvements.
- Manage and maintain the ECN process.
- Coordinate and ensure proper vendor and component qualifications. Required Skills:
- BachelorÂ’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 5 to 10 years of previous Engineering experience.
- 5+ years of people management experience, including coaching and mentoring, performance management, and team building experience with a strategic mindset.
- Experience in thermodynamics, refrigeration application engineering, and electronic controls.
- 5+ years of HVACR industry experience preferred.
- Able to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and manage deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent people and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
