- Three to six months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Food Handlers Certification (must comply with State Regulations).
- Ability to switch tasks quickly and often.
- Ability to work as a part of a team.
- Ability to accurately follow recipes and instructions.
- Knowledge understanding and ability to apply fundamental techniques of preparing pastries and baked goods.
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
- Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule to be at work and on time. Schedules vary based on business needs.
- Prepare and execute a variety of pastries and baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure pastries and baked goods are visually appealing well-presented and consistent in quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation following property sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen leadership to develop new pastry items and seasonal menus.
- Adhere to all company policies procedures and guidelines including health and safety regulations.
- Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station. Break down and clean station thoroughly every day.
- Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
