The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support for Custom Fit and the Small Business Development Center. This includes record keeping, report development, organizing events, handling correspondence, and providing support for various projects. The ideal candidate will be innovative, collaborative, and detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a part-time, 20-25 hours per week staff position located primarily on the Richfield campus reporting to the Assistant Director of the Small Business Development Center and Custom Fit. After training, remote work may be possible. The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in supporting the success of these programs.Qualifications
  • Required Associates Degree or 3 years' experience.
  • Provide excellent and professional customer care, including effective verbal and written communication face-to-face, phone, email, etc.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, data entry/management, and willingness to learn new software and technical skills.
  • Knowledge of financial record keeping.
  • Problem-solving skills, an ability to multitask and seek solutions to everyday problems.
  • Ability to work independently in the absence of specific instruction.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Demonstrate an optimistic and positive outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Major Responsibilities/Duties
  • Provides general administrative support including
  • Courteous and friendly client communications while gathering information, and giving instructions, or referrals through email, telephone, and face-to-face.
  • Prepare financial transactions-check requests, budget transfers, and maintain a purchasing card, which requires monthly reports.
  • Ability to assist on weekends or evenings as needed (this would be rarely).
  • Custom Fit
  • Organize and document client information properly by utilizing SalesForce database continuously, and maintaining files.
  • Generate quarterly, and yearly reports.

The employment time is three continuous months at an average of 15 hours a week.Student hourly employees are exempt from the part-time privileges of this policy.Privileges.Upon authorization by the hiring department, part-time employees as defined under this policy will be issued a Snow College Part-Time Staff/Faculty Identification Card at the time of hire.
