Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Responsible for continually monitoring the hotel, casino, and bowling center operations to endure adherence to the state gaming regulations, in house internal controls, and company policies and procedures
  • Checks all surveillance equipment at the start of the shift to ensure everything is in good working condition
  • Views the casino areas for identification of cheating activities, undesirables, theft, and embezzlement
  • Maintains the daily logs
  • Assists the Security Department in protecting the welfare of the employees and guests of the property
  • Coordinates with local, state and federal law enforcement in the investigation of criminal activity which occurred on company property
  • Keeps the surveillance equipment and working area clean at all times
  • The ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods
  • The ability to read, write, and speak in a concise and effective manner
  • The ability to follow instructions and report anything out of the ordinary
  • The ability to work in a noisy and smoky environment
  • The ability to keep company matters confidential at all times
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Excels in retaining and recalling information
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Knowledge of Gaming regulations
  • Basic computer skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 1 years gaming and or investigation experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with computer related systems
  • Registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
  • Identification that establishes identity
  • Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
