Physical Therapist Qualifications:
  • Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of physical therapy treatments and interventions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Implement and modify treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, endurance, and balance
  • Provide patient education regarding exercises, stretches, and techniques to improve function and prevent injury
  • Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care to patients
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices for physical therapy
  • Attend relevant trainings and maintain current knowledge of physical therapy treatments, interventions, and resources
  • Supervise and train physical therapy assistants or aides as needed
