The ideal candidate will play a key role in the development, refinement, and release of exciting, differentiated technologies to position us as a market leader in our target markets. Key responsibilities and qualifications for success in this role are listed below.Role Responsibilities:Assist in onboarding, operation, and standardization of manufacturing processes and equipment.Provide recommendations and insights from testing using sound engineering judgement to guide manufacturing scale up effortsWork on multiple projects and prioritize in support of project teamBe able to work in a team environment or independentlyWork with a global team of engineers and industry expertsEnsure Environmental Health and Safety concepts are embedded in process and equipment plans.Provide daily production support and trouble-shootingCoordinate process design and material flow in designated areasLead and sustain 6S program within work areaParticipate in product and process development (APD) activities by providing manufacturing expertiseParticipate in or lead PFMEAParticipate in or lead equipment and process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) for new product launches as well as sustain production and validation support for ongoing manufacturing.Drive process improvement initiatives for department, including attaining Cost Reduction targetsProvide input for capital investment strategy, research new techniques and technology for continuous improvementCollaborate with other functions to provide the best product and process solutions to our customersOthers tasks as necessaryMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science/Manufacturing/Chemistry pr equivalent relevant experience3 years' experience in the Medical/ Biomedical Industries (other regulated environments may be considered)Basic knowledge of lab environment and safety practicesOrganized and detail-orientedPreferred Qualifications:Eager to learn and develop new skillsExperience in Power Bi, Power Apps, Sharepoint, Teamcenter, and MinitabGood interpersonal and communications skillsComfortable using hand tools and power toolsGood at documentation and formatting in Excel, Word, PowerPointKnowledge of test and measurement equipmentPrevious experience in a manufacturing setting/pilot process.Lean, 6S, material-flowKey words: Manufacturing engineer, medical, biomedical, life sciences, six sigma, manufacturingEmployment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
