And we will be better with you.Sensient Technologies is seeking an experienced Group Finance Director. This influential leader will partner across the Colors Group to ensure effective controls and accurate reporting are consistently present. This dynamic and seasoned Director will partner with executives to drive strategic business decisions based upon financial data and reporting. As a member of the Sensient team, you will be required to push boundaries and innovate onsite in the office, 5 days per week.What you'll do:
  • Routinely and confidently provide analysis and financial leadership to executives and business leaders that will help drive key decisions.
  • Prepare, present and interpret financial information for the executive team.
  • Ensure that the financial statements of the division are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles applied on a consistent basis.
  • Coach and lead the accounting function in a matrixed environment while maintaining accounting policies, controls and documentation requirements, maintains fiscal controls and safeguards the Group's assets.
  • Manage the Group's relationship and interactions with internal and external auditors.
  • Lead, influence and direct the business unit and finance leaders to effectively handle issues, manage forecasts and reporting.
What you'll bring:
  • 8-10 years of finance leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment, including extensive knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, controls and accounting functions.
  • Experience working within a multinational or global company, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree or four-year equivalent, Masters and CPA is preferred.
  • An ownership mentality and the ability to take direction and act independently.
  • Advanced decision-making skills, and experience leading with an entrepreneurial yet collaborative approach.
  • Expert influential leadership skills, with a history of successfully leading in a multi-location environment.
