Join us and find out!At Master Roofers, our Project Managers work closely with the sales teams and skilled roofers to diagnose and repair roof leaks, install residential and commercial roofing systems and install and service skylight products in accordance with manufacturer specifications. The Roofing superintendent is responsible for managing an assigned crew of sub-contractors and to ensure that projects are safely and successfully completed in accordance to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee sub-contractor crews; ensure safety, quality, productivity and morale within each assigned project
  • Collaborate with internal production team to determine project needs
  • Work at job site along side crews and serve as main point of contact for homeowners
  • Hold crews accountable my measuring job progress toward established quality, productivity and safety goals
  • Conduct property assessments, plan construction processes and schedules, estimate costs and ensure projects are on budget
  • Plan inspections and obtain construction permits
  • Order appropriate equipment and track material stock and orders
  • Track all project activity within Company CRM
  • Ensure job sites remain safe, clean and orderly
  • Resolve on-site issues and emergencies; immediately investigate all incidents and report to management
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years experience in the building construction trades with supervisory experience
  • Ability to travel; must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Highly skilled using tools, and equipment in roof repair, replacement, new installation and preventive maintenance
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices and materials and tools of the building construction trade
  • Physically capable of handling all aspects of the inspection process
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards, building codes, laws, and regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with tablets, Apple iPads (iPadOS)
  • Certified Roof Inspector preferred
