- Lead and manage key compensation life cycle events, including annual merit planning, variable pay administration, and equity processes. This includes ensuring timely and accurate execution of these processes.
- Provide clear interpretation, guidance, and training on Beckman Coulter's compensation philosophy, policies, and practices to associates, leaders, and other stakeholders. This will help ensure a consistent understanding and alignment across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement competitive compensation packages that attract and retain top talent. This involves analyzing market data, benchmarking, and aligning total rewards programs with industry standards.
- Utilize the Global Career and Reward Framework to guide the organization in job mapping, leveling, and career development. Actively participate in GCRF governance to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders on employment-related matters that impact compensation and benefits. This includes collaborating with work councils, identifying potential compliance issues, and discussing internal policies such as pay transparency.
- Develop effective communication strategies to drive associate awareness and understanding of total rewards. These strategies will help associates understand how they can benefit from Beckman Coulter’s total rewards programs and how they can maximize their rewards.
- Stay informed about external trends and best practices in compensation and rewards. Proactively recommend changes to ensure Beckman Coulter remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent in the marketplace.
- Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years’ experience, or Master’s degree in field with 12+ years’ experience
- Knowledge of compensation practices and principles and the changing global regulatory landscape; previous experience driving the annual compensation process either as a compensation analyst or HR business partner preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate to different audiences at various levels of the organization, globally.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage highly sensitive / confidential data in a professional manner and customer Service oriented – high sense of urgency and professionalism
