- Designing and conducting studies as part of a collaborative team of researchers and clinician-scientists
- Collecting data, maintaining study records and meeting regulatory requirements
- Critically evaluating and interpreting data through advanced quantitative analysis and determining next steps
- Mentoring and training staff and students
- Writing and publishing scientific material, including manuscripts
- Presenting research at conferences
- Contributing to grant submissions for external funding
- Collaborating with program manager and research scientist to assist with operational development activities.
- Collaborating with other researchers at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Ohio State University, nationally, and internationally
- PhD in psychology, nursing, or a related field
- Desire to pursue a career in clinical research
- Technical skills related to behavioral sciences research, including strong quantitative and qualitative skills. Ability to use SPSS,R or Mplus desired
- Ability to work independently on projects
- Strong proficiency in scientific writing
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to train and mentor staff and students
