Job Summary:
Harrisonburg Honda, a leading automotive dealership in Harrisonburg, Virginia, is seeking a full-time Service Receptionist/Customer Care/Cashier to join our team. This is an essential role that serves as the first point of contact for customers and plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service. As a Service Receptionist/Customer Care/Cashier, you will be responsible for greeting customers, directing them to the appropriate departments, and providing administrative support to the service team. Additionally, you will also be responsible for handling cash transactions for service invoices. This is an individual contributor role in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry with a competitive compensation package of $14.25 to $15.50 per hour. This position is eligible for biweekly pay and offers benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth within the organization.Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Direct customers to the appropriate department or service advisor
  • Answer and transfer incoming calls to the appropriate department
  • Schedule appointments for service department
  • Cash out service invoices and accurately perform cash handling procedures
  • Maintain proper cash balance at the end of each shift
  • Provide administrative support to the service team, including filing, data entry, and other tasks as assigned
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must be able to work full-time and some weekends
